President’s Message
Dear Members, Partners, and Friends,
As we start this new League year, I am encouraged by the strength, talent, and creativity of the women of the Junior League of Monroe. With ninety-five years of serving our community behind us, we look forward to the future with hope for a bright future. The last few years have allowed our members to grow in new and exciting ways allowing us to more fully step into the community to build new relationships with community partners to continue to make a meaningful impact for women and children at risk.
Our organization has grown as we have added new women to lead and develop those around us. We are learning to lean into innovation while holding the traditions that have made our organization strong. Our focus in this year as we pursue our mission of developing women leaders is to ensure that all who cross our paths or walk through our doors feel seen, respected, and welcomed. We want a sense of community and belonging to resonate in all that we do, and we are working hard to open up more opportunities to make that a possibility.
As we work together to make incredible things happen for our community, we hope that you come along for the journey with us. We value your support, encouragement, and partnerships as we work alongside all of you to make Northeast Louisiana a wonderful place for everyone today and far into the future.
